Polyester
1. Where it is grown in the world? Polyester is synthetic fiber that is made with coal, air, water, and petroleum. 2. Items made from the fiber (discuss examples from a wide sampling of places around the world). Some major things that are made from polyester are ever form of clothing, carpets, drapes, pillow cases and sheets 3. Interesting information about the fiber and how it is used. Polyester is used to bind together different materials because it is so strong. It is mildew resistant and retains heat.
This is a picture of the DNA before it starts mitosis.
Step 2
This picture shows the DNA starting to unzip itself.
Step 3
DNA bases begin to pair.
Step 4
The bases are paired on each side of the DNA.
Step 5
Mitosis is complete because the DNA has been replicated.
Key
DNA replication is when two strands of DNA become broken, unravel, and multiply into two different strands of DNA. These five steps that I have drawn out explain and shows this.
Terms
Telomeres- Long ends at the end of the chromosome. Okazako Fragments- Where the polymerase of DNA can begin to synthesize a section of complementary strand. DNA Ligase- This sews the Okazaki Fragments together. Telomerase- An enzyme that increases telomere to the end of DNA the strands. Cancer- It has the ability to divide itself as many times as it wants, may slow down the aging of tissue and they grow into tumors. Transplanted Cells- These also have to ability to divide themselves as many times as they want, but they do die out. Cloning- One of the most famous uses of cloning was with the sheep dolly. They copied the nucleus of her telomerse Aging- this just means the same as “changes in an organism over time.”
